On 20 September 2024, a symposium will be held at the Berlin capital office of the Federal Statistical Office to highlight the potential of microsimulation based on current topics. The symposium is aimed at all political actors who would like to learn more about what microsimulation actually is and what potential microsimulation holds for politics.
In this context, various examples on the topics of transport, health and urban development will be presented. The symposium will also look at the current data situation in Germany and an outlook on the possibilities and potential limits of future evidence-based policy advice.
